MEC Single Stage Resizing - Ring vs. Collet

    At times the collet seems better than the ring for certain tubed skeet guns that have ill fitted ejectors. Also I think the collet is a better with the steel heads larger gauges. I use both. Been loading with a ring for 42 years.

    I used my MEC 250 until the ring wore out enough that it quit sizing. Guess all those trips through there took it's toll. Also got tired of the extra step of pushing it back out of the ring. With the collet, raising the handle a putting a fresh shell on was always a lot better. Then the Grabber came along and "fergetaboutit", I never looked back.
