Are the powder baffles I have seen offered by Multi-scale and now DownRange worth the effort to install?

    Thanks,

    Mike

I like mine. I've got them on all my MECs, the metal ones. GOOD LUCK

In MHO a powder baffel will help even out your powder drops. However powder drops are like how you operate your loader. The smoother the stroke the better. Paul

I have used the red plastic PC baffles for many years. I have found they eliminate a lot of problems. No spacer or ring is needed with them, and they stop powder migration to the bench around your press!

They do make the seal work better. They have zero value as far as regulating powder drops. I use one on each of my MEC's.

Same experience as Shooting Coach. I think that you get a more uniform drop as the powder bottle reaches empty. I keep my powder bottle at least half full.

Get the Red Plastic Pattern Control (PC) baffles. Gamaliel sells them link above.

If you ever start loading dense fine grain powder like TiteWad it is worth every penny you paid for them.

Thanks to all for taking the time to reply. They aren't expensive so I'll give it a try.
