I will be needing a hydraulic pump for a Mec 9000H soon.
I found metal filings in my pump. Changed to a
heavier oil. Working now, but for how long?

Is there an aftermarket pump out there (Grangers or
    Northern Hydraulic)?

    Thanks

I doubt your pump will shut down--- they are really possible to run for decades

Find a local pump repair shop- if that happens

    regards from Iowa

PS- I wouldnt use heavier oil at all- that causes more strain on the pump- use what they tell you to use- if you want- make is synthetic 30 weight

Lewis.... Gene is correct. My 9000H pump is going on 25 years old and is still running as strong as ever. I change the oil in it about every 5 years, or when I think about it. I bought 6 qts of 10W motor oil when I bought the reloader and am still using it. Never a leak, problem, or hiccup. Drain the pump, flush it with fresh oil, refill it and you are good to go for a long time... Dan Thome (Trap2)
