MEC charge bar question.

    Someone asked why the MEC charge bar has a rubber insert embedded and adjoined to the lead drop hole in the bar.

    It minimizes shot-shearing and the attendant balking of the charge bar.

    Agree with wm rike and must add that these inserts need to be replaced periodically.

    Your all wrong it's for safe reloading DUH!!!

    Whatever you do install it right, a rip or tear could be problems for 20 years.

    Universal charge bar with the rubber grommet is even better.

    all new ones have rubber for steel shot dont use old for steel same with bushings
