MEC Automate?

    Anyone use the new MEC Automate reloader?

    Thanks AveragEd but I was hopping someone could elabotate on just how it compares with other reloaders and what one can be bought for,since it is new and probably not discounted yet. Thanks

    Well, first off, the Auto-Mate is not a loader. It is an electric driver for one. You must first have a MEC 9000G or GN loader or an Auto-Mate will be nothing more than a unique conversation piece.

    As such things go, I think the Auto-Mate is very high quality. I've had one for a while and like it a lot. It certainly beats the clutter and noise of a hydraulic system and it can be switched to other loaders in minutes.

    I can't imagine anyone buying one and not liking it. But buy a loader first!

    Have the first series with buttons on the side. Love it.

    Have made a few changes. Now use a 2 amp fuse. Use a used primer tray directly under the loader, not the shute which I removed. I will buy the left cross brace MEC is adding to its version and install it. Probably not needed, but I like the idea.

    This thing is the best trap money I have ever spent.
