Mec Auto-Mate

    MEC auto-mate seems costly but I am interested in this . You know Christmas is coming and !!!!.

    Any suggestions/ 9000 G 12 Ga.

    Once installed, you’ll wonder why you hesitated. I recently purchased and installed one on a 9000g; my shooting buddy saw it in action and ordered his that afternoon.

    I cannot speak for the Automate but I have an ancient 76H Hydromec in 12 ga. I love it.I have used a Hydro for decades now & would not be without it. 20 & lesser gauges are not too bad with a manual progressive but as you hit Medicare/SS it is a blessing. Yes,the cylinder leaks badly,but an empty Federal primer tray catches ALL the oil. Buy it if you can afford it,you will not be sorry. If you don't want to spend that much,watch for a used Hydromec

    Quiet, fast, smooth. You will never regret it, especially the first round that rolls out and you didn't pull a handle.
