They're usually at the Wisconsin shoot in Waukesha, which is this week. I had mine cleaned and completely readjusted for $30.00. Got it back the next day. Nice guys, too.

For the past couple of years they've done what I would describe as minor maintenance - not major rebuilds/overhauls. The explanation (excuse?) given was the inability to deal with needed solvents.

It seems to me a simple shop type parts washer would keep solvents contained so they could be used and hauled off to be recycled or disposed of in an EPA approved manner. However, in fairness to MEC, there are likely issues beyond my simple understanding.

Dave P said it best. Contact the nice folks at MEC and ask them exactly what services they plan to provide.
