MEC 9000G problem

    My MEC made a loud crack on the down stroke and was hard to pull up. Now I cannot get it to go down? ANy suggestions????

    I would suggest that you check the sizing collet and linkage for breakage or misalignment.

    Also check the arm off the shock on the bottom of it that index's the shells.

    A loud snap is usually the clamp slipping(due to the heavy spring load) on the powder drop tube .

    Call M E C and they will walk you thru the problem.

    Iam lucky I live 1 hour from mayville where mecs are made call there tech dept theese guys are good especialy a guy named rick gilbert. they will walk you through it and will spend as much time as it takes good luck ED
