Buy everything and peddle off what you don't want. 9000's are good loaders, but not quite as long term as the 366. 9000's are easy to peddle and cheaper to ship.

I have both. I show newbies how to load on Mec's and I personally use 366's.

No question in my mind....the Mec is by far a superior loader.....

    I don't know anything about a 366.

However, I have loaded over 45,000 shells with my 9000G with no problems.

Keep them both. Put the 9000G in your bedroom, so when you wake up in the middle of the night to pee, you can knock out a couple hundred shells before you go back to bed. HMB

I prefer a 366 by far. But, that is what makes the world go around. Try both and keep the one you like best.

having used both I must agree with shadow, had much better luck with 366 plus it has a better resizer if you need it & not all that much trouble if you like to resize every time as I do, because I shoot different smoke poles & do not like to try to keep separate hulls for each one..

I have owned both and prefer the Mec 9000 by far over the 366. Don't get caught up in the hype that all of that heavy metal is better.

I've had both and firmly believe that the 366 is a superior machine. Everyone knows that machined is better than stamped. Just my .02.

    Nailer,

Why not set the thing up and try it. YOU make the decision.

If you pick the MEC, you can then only blame yourself.

Just out of curiosity; what do you think the MEC will do for you that the 366 is lacking?

    Nailer,

If you have to ask a dumb question like that, maybe you should not be reloading.............Rick Johnson

I have both, and both have pluses and minuses. The 366 very rarely needs a part replacement. The Mec needs parts on regular basis. 366 is a slower press, and has a better re-sizer. The 9000g will turn out shells at higher volume. I would take the 366 over the Mec. Mike Sharkey, DC

    Nailer - I have no experience with a 366. I do, however, own two MEC's 9000G.

MEC makes an excellent product. They are employee owned and their service department is terrific. As a Wisconsin shooter, I cannot say enough about the quality of their product.

I have owned both. They both work. I prefer the 366 just because I like machined items over stamped. I also think that the primer feed on the 366 is better that the "toilet chain".

If you wear out either, consider yourself lucky to have shot that much.
