I bought this 600 Jr for ten bucks. Totally frozen up. A few hours of wire wheel work and a little paint later it looked like this, and functions perfectly. I put the wad guide, which was new, on my 8567 Grabber. Mec builds a tough machine.

    wireguy,

That's pretty darn cool! I do the same thing with Bair/Pacific single stage reloaders. It's great resurecting something like that!

I recently finished up 3 DL-155's and donated them to a local club for their youth shooters to reload on. I have two more that are almost ready for a new lease on life.

I saw a old mec, don't have a clue what the model was but the primer feeder was on the right side and the base was high and wide like a 8567. I didn't buy it but will if I get to go back. I believe it would be fun to restore but I often have trouble finishing things as I have too many hobbies. I will post pictures when I get it and maybe it will help me to finish it so I can post the pictures. Wireguy, that looks great. Jackie B.

    Great job!!!!
I did same thing to a 650 but my repairs were not as "complicated". LOL
I have several 600's and if you are going to use this get a auto primer feeder from MEC.
You can really load the shells with a lot less hassle handling primers.
