So after consulting Craigs List I meet this guy in the parking lot at the Factory Outlets in Tulare and in the bed of his pick up there is a MEC 600 Jr which looks to be in pretty good shape except for the shiney metal threads where the bottles for powder and shot screw on. The price is cheap ($25) so I figure I can buy a replacement part and still come out ahead.
Now I'm on the MEC site looking at their parts list and I can't figure out what the nomenclature for this particular part would be. Obviously "shiney metal threads where the bottles screw in" isn't what MEC calls 'em.
Does anyone here know what this part is called?

If you can't figure that out, maybe you should take some lessions in reloading.
