MEC 600 Jr. Old AA 410 hulls to 410 HS

    Dr.Larry, check the hulls for length, since there can be variations, which require resetting pre-crimp and crimp stations, particularly with 3" hulls. You may also need to use HS wads in HS hulls, and to not use HS wads in older hulls because of different tapers in the sidewalls. Good loading. Dr.Bob

    If they don't crimp properly, adjust the last station nut and screw until you get what you're looking for in the crimp.

    Does claybuster make a clone HS wad for 410 and 28 ga.? Jon

    Yes, Claybuster offers very nice clone HS wads for 28 ga. and .410 bore. The 28 ga. wads should have the "A" suffix printed (or on a tag) on the bag. These are the "shorter" wads and make reloading 28 ga. so much easier. You can't go wrong with either Claybuster 28ga. or .410 bore wads!!
