It's not enough to simply not spend your money there. Call the mayor's office AND the local chamber of commerce and tourism bureau and tell them why.

Portland tried some anti-gun crap a few years back and we got a lot of support from gunowners all over the country calling the tourism bureau and telling them they would not vacation in Portland or Oregon. You get a few thousand calls like that and it starts to get economic attention.

Are they against guns or as it said above the list against illegal guns? One means they are anti gun and the other only want legal guns in their area.

The term "illegal" means whatever they want it to mean.
    Let me refresh your memory....

    "Amendment II

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed. "

"infringe" - " 1: to encroach upon in a way that violates law or the rights of another <infringe a patent>
    2
    obsolete : defeat, frustrate
    intransitive verb
: encroach —used with on or upon <infringe on our rights>
    — in·fring·er noun
See infringe defined for English-language learners »
See infringe defined for kids »
    Examples of INFRINGE

They claim that his use of the name infringes their copyright.
Her rights must not be infringed.
    Origin of INFRINGE

Medieval Latin infringere, from Latin, to break, crush, from in- + frangere to break — more at break
    First Known Use: 1513"

How can a gun be illegal? I can understand an owner being illegal but what did the gun ever do?

    Just more liberal hate speech.

The anti-gunners always say they're for keeping guns out of the wrong hands.

Except to them the wrong hands include ordinary law-abiding citizens.
