    "Maybe I did wrong, but

On my last trip to the store I again parked far away from the other vehicles. I always do this to keep some moron from banging up my doors when parking too closely. However, I have found that parking in this far off manner usually encourages people who drive forty year old dump trucks and other like monstrosities to get as close as possible to my car.

Well, this time it didn’t happen that way. It was a red, late model, rather good looking pick up. When I left the store to come home it was parked approx 15 inches from my car which now has a deep red dent in my door. BUT…the pickup now has a dent about the size of my shoe in its door.

After some reflection, maybe it was not a nice thing to do. But, I can live with it.

You screwed up by not putting two in the truck. Nothing pisses me off anymore than an idiot that just has to try and ding your vehicle cause they don't care about theirs. I say good for you.

Why is it some people think THEIRS is so much more important than YOURS and just don't give a crap about you,,,,what ever happened to being considerate of everyone's stuff????

Can't say what you did is right,,,,but sometimes life's lessons are best remembered when learned the hard way.....

It's just the lib-socialist lifestyle coming to a parking lot near you. Why should they care, the government has $4500 waiting to give you for your trade in.

NO ONE has any respect for anything any more. Just ask any teacher what the single biggest problem is with kids these days. Scary...

I had someone do that one night at a restaurant. When my date and I left, the sideview mirror was hanging by the control cables.

I was still torqued off, but got over it quicker.

Not me but an old friend of mine and his wife went to a furniture store to buy some handicap stuff for her because she was in the first stage of a very bad dibilitating disease and wanted a close parking place near the front door so she didn`t have to walk so far . One spot left at the door and here comes 2 couples in a car and zipped right in front of them and got out laughing when they got out and went in the store . Well , Jerry was so pissed he reached in the back seat and got his nail apron with a few roofing nails and gently placed 4 of them behind each tire !!! Not nice but he felt good . They eventually went to another store .

You have to be careful doing this because many shopping area parking lots have security cameras now. I would be very pissed myself and would have done the same, but if it came before a judge, he might not see it as an eye for an eye.

Is it me or have people lost a sense of common courtsey towards others? The incident that Booger posted happens thousands of times every day. Like Booger and so many others we are getting fed up so Booger you extracted an ounce of revenge but I'm guessing the Shit For Brains that owned that pick up never noticed! How many times have you been cut off by lane changers no signal or they signal and move over regardless of where you're car may be. I had a 22 yr old decide to make a RH turn from the left ahdn lane in front of me this past May result; I'm drivng a new vehcile that I really didn't want to buy. My first words to this youngerst when we got out of the cars" What the F&#* where you thinking" his response I need to turn down that street to get home. My response "extract your head from your ass". He asked if we could hust exchange information and take care of it that way, sure right after the police write an accident report and ticket your rat ass!

Actually, what you should do is park in between two nice cars. That way they both respect each other's property, and beater is going to park next to you.

ctreay, yeah but those are typically teenaged girls.

Just let the air out of TWO tires. Not many people have an air compressor or two spares. Back in the not so good old days at Jeep. A holes were taken care of by using a pliers to pull out two valve stems and then leave a note pinned to the side wall of a third tire with an ice pick. Seen it done more than once. Bill

Booger, better be careful, guys who drive pickups are pretty bad dudes. A friend of mine now walks with a limp as the other guy saw him kick his door and hurt him real bad. If you don't live too far, maybe you ought to just walk to the store. Biff

Years ago I was going into a super market when some dork parked in the handicap only spot. A elderly woman with a walked had to park 300 feet away and try and get to the store. The guy was driving a big old work van, he was about 25 and no handicap except his brain. Somehow some toothpicks I had in the car wound up in his door locks with a note on the back door reading," maybe you'll think twice about handicap spots next time". Like you all said it sure felt good.
