Since it was asked for the VA state shoot, anybody know if any vendors will be going to the MD state shoot, and who if any?

    Thanks.

I won't be attending. Jack Bart will be bringing some demo guns sat and sunday.
Gas prices up and attendance is down. I'm staying close to home this year.

To defend Thurmont a little... It was near 100 degrees that weekend. The targets were better set and had less broken targets than in previous years. They are trying to get their trap program back in shop. I hope they do. I also miss the State Shoots there.

Ah - Thurmont ---- where the state shoot turns into an impromptu tractor pull with a little bit of rain.

Just ask anybody with a camper.....

We all know what Thurmont is today. Years back it was a great place to shoot. Lots of great folks. Bigger crowds than Millington ever saw. Good places to stay and eat in Frederick. I would still trade the "stench" for the "air" at Millington. Lots of shooters feel the same.

I personally don't miss Thurmont one bit...they could make a 1000% improvement with the construction of 1 building...a DECENT restroom/shower room for the shooters....I saw better "bomb sites" in an Turkish ghetto than what they called a restroom stall ...such a shame because the rest of the club was fairly nice...Do they not get the message or are they thay starved for funds??
