manlicher problem

    i have a 1952 style mannlicher schoenaeur 3006 rifle which i dry fired and now i can't get thev bolt open but half way (bolt handle will only raise half way up) any suggestions?

    I would take it out of the stock and see if I could determine the cause of the bind first. Then a trip to the gunsmith.

    fearlessfain-

    on the right side of the action there is a safety that moves forward/backward.
    gently move that each direction and try to move the bolt handle.
    remember, DO NOT FORCE!
