How do you feel when a club has a four dollar mandatory purse for the ATA handicap event. This goes to the tread on the Lewis. Bruce

If they gave each yardage group back their money would you still go home?? Put some fun into the game. It might just attract shooters, I would go.

If the $4 was added to the fee of 'targets only' to pay for a trophy or cash prize instead of a trophy, I would have no problem with that.

Are mandatory purses legal? Where I shoot they are always optional.

What it means is that the statements ". . .mandatory purses are "legal." A club can have a handicap event with a mandatory $100 purse." are true more often than not but they need that caveat.
