Texshooter, I feel bad for you and your lady. My wife has a similiar malady that wherein she gets very dizzy...often precipitated by a jarring motion, etc. The dizziness causes incapacitation, the room spins, no balance, nausea. She has an inner ear problem and consulted with the House Center in Los Angeles..House Ear Clinic. Is your wife's syndrome inner ear related or due to a cognitive interpretation ear signals that is "misread"?

With age, I find myself feeling dizzy upon strong initial acceleration with car or motorcycle. At least such keeps me from lusting very strongly after a new 'Vette in retirement...but mid range acceleration and above, no problem....but I can never be a drag racer!!!

Hope all works out, maybe House Ear Clinic has some answers too.
