1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

These are the polymer lowers manufactured by New Frontier Armory. I have quite a few of these available, $99.99 each + shipping. Add 8% tax if you're in New Yorkistan.

They are complete and require nothing other than a complete upper receiver. They are all brand new and have only been taken out of the bubble wrap so I could inventory them and log them into my books.

Black rifles not allowed by the self-appointed posting police?

Lets see, in the past week there have been a .460, .416, .45ACP ammo, Rolex, metallic reloading equipment, Beretta 92, spotting scope, lead ingots and a Wyoming knife posted in the for sale section, but a black rifle is unwelcome?

Have you shot one of these enough to see how well they hold up? I have been thinking about buying a AR15, but I admit to be a bit of a metal snob when it comes to firearms.

Question? How do these stack up against the Plumb Crazy polymer lowers?

I put two PC's together last fall for my grandsons. We have about 1K rounds each through them - vastly Wolf Target ammo. One has a Rock River upper and the other a JSE custom. Both shoot very well and will hold near MOA at 100 yds. with good ammo.

I can't see any appreciable wear in either lower, yet. Both guns came in just over 7 lbs with Redfield Revenge 4x12 scopes and UTG rings.

    Thx,
    Kip

    R. Kipling,

The polymer used in these is suppose to be better than the PC lower receivers. I have a couple set aside that I'm going to use on a dedicated .22lr AR and another I might just beat the hell out of to see how it holds up.

So just out of curiosioty, how much does the rest of the rifle generally go for if one were so inclined to build one. John

It depends, you can find a cheap complete upper for around $350.

The lower is compatible with any modern upper. It has standard size pins.

Just an FYI that some of you might be interested in. JSE Surplus, of MO. builds custom uppers at very reasonable prices. they are also very easy to work with and responsive. I recently ordered a 7.62x39 upper to take advantage of the cheap ammo that is available, it arrived here in 8 days, and it's a 200 yard soda can buster.

    IME,
    Kip
