Anybody know the 08 schedule for registered shoots at the Las Vegas Gun Club? I could not find any dates on their website or the ATA site. Intersted in the first few months of the year for now.

    Glenn,

That is correct. Each day will be a 50 target race as a warm-up, followed by a 100 target event. Basically, a money shoot, with a few silver and gold coin prizes for the 100 bird events. This is an A.T.A. event, but NOT our Midwinter Tournament. As I had posted on here recently, the Tucson Trap & Skeet Club elected to move the Spring Grand 1 week later than normal. Our Midwinter Tournament usually follows the Spring Grand, but this forced us onto a NASCAR race at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. When this happens, hotel room rates go through the roof, and become almost impossible to find. When we found out this had happened, we had to come up with an alternate program. We will probably have our usual full RV area, our locals, and maybe a few that will pay for the inflated rooms, but I can't count on a crowd that would support the normal cost associated with putting on the traditional Midwinter Tournament. Let me know if you have any other questions.
