I was at a shoot today and the top score for the caps event was an 85. Wind was about 20-35mph and targets were riding a roller coaster. What's the lowest score you have seen earn a punch.

15 to 25? Everyday on MT and Idaho.

We had a shoot one spring in Great Falls, wind was all the way to 59. Tough to stay in the game.

If there are enough shooters (25 used to be 15), top score gets a 1/2 yard no matter what it is, its all relative.

LOL...try Anchorage in January sometime. We've had punches down way below that - 81 a couple years ago, and he was the only one that bested 80. BTW, I shot 75 that day to finish second!

I made the 27 yard line with an 89...shot in rain and a 30 mph wind at the old Lethbridge Trap Club...
