i was looking at last years grand american pay out sheet. looks like kay ohye only made about $6041.00 for breaking a 99 last year in the gah event. That's playing all the purses. What ever happened to the big payouts there use to be winning this event.

How many did he split pots with? Seems like there was a sizeable shootoff. Or, is that figure the total before splits?...Bob Dodd

small; Why do you worry about so much trivial crap and start threads about them. You start more threads about nothing than anyone. Go shoot, be happy and have fun. If you win the GAH there will be enough to pay for your week.

Imagine if Kay or one of the other 6 had just not missed one bird - now that would be a nice payoff....Bob Dodd

    The 2002 GAH had 3 100's. Each got a little over $18000.

I heard that Leo's 100 in caps at the Ohio State shoot got him a little over $14,400.00. Not too shabby. Nubs Wagner.

I think that one of the reasons for a low payout was the fact there were only approx 2600 entries. Can't put my hands on my 2007 program or I would have last year's exact figures. The 1986 GAH paid almost 32K to one 100. Larry

I suspect that every one of those six that shot a 99 and split the pot is well aware that the bird they missed potentially cost them $30K. Now that's an expensive miss!

    Shoot well and often,

    Mark.
