1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

Jack: I think the MX3 "Special"'s might end up being the "Holy Grail" of Perazzi guns. I have not seen one for sale in eons. Good luck my friend.

    Jack,

I don't know what the difference between an MX3 and a special is, but Gunbrokers.com has one for sale.

I UNDERSTAND THE MX3 DOES NOT HAVE A POP OUT TRIGGER LIKE THE SPECIAL DOES, ANY COMMENTS. I OWNED A MX3 SPECIAL AND THE TRIGGER CAME OUT LIKE ALL PERAZZIS.

wrong !!! MX-3 DOES have a removeable trigger just like the special. Special also has MOVEABLE trigger and MX8 style monoblock.

Hap. Take anothr pic showing the custom wood in its entireity. very pretty, and you make my point exactly. These are uncommonly good Perazzis that deserve our ongoing admiration and deserved respect. Not a MX2000 but maybe better?

Thnks fo rshowing us your gun.

I have both mx3 and mx 3 special in combos.

Both have same height ribs and removeable trigger.

The mx3 is light, swings fast, good for doubles and easy on the shoulder during long sustained shooting with a soft touch pad.

I've read somewhere that the all American Danny Bonillas uses an MX3. He was offered to switch to a more updated Perazzi which he tried but returned to the MX3.

The MX3 Special is similar to the MX3 but a bit heavier, with a square monobloc instead of the round. I shoot both and can't tell the difference.
I believe that they are the best Perazzi has ever made and very hard to beat.

Jack, thanks. The forearm on this gun is very unique and from Perazzi. Near the rear it has "PERAZZI" engraved into the wood. Giacomo Arrighine(sp?) told me at the Ca. state shoot these were rare to find.I like the full cut checkering as I sometimes move my left hand at times and still have a good grip on the forearm. It doesn't match the stock but clays don't pay much attention and it smokes them?? :) Hap

    Thanks Joey!!

I had Giacomo fit the stock and tune it up again. Timed the ejectors and fit my guard. It really smokes clays!!

I need to get some health issues fixed first before I go any farther in shooting or buying anything shooting related. I can't shoot the local shoots this weekend either and I'm having a conniption fit. Spinal cord compression in 3 places in my neck! Gives new meaning to something that hurts like hades,, he!!. Rick,

Everything is for sale at the right price. Look at all the things you post on here. When things are offered for sale, you snooze you loose. If someone would have bought the gun when I offered it for sale with the gold trigger, they would have gotten one hell of a deal. Now the trigger is gone and I'm waiting for better times to trade or sell the MX3. Just wanted to post the picture with some of the other MX 3's, that's all.
