John was a good friend for many years. He continued to shoot even though it must of been difficult. I was looking forward to seeing him in Florida in a month. Tom if you will give Carol a hug for me.

I'm so sorry to hear about John. Our deepest sympathy to Carol and the family.

I hadn't seen John for several years and didn't realize he had been so sick.
This is one of the bad things about not shooting anymore you loose track of your old shooting friends and we had known John and Carol for many, many year.

Thanks to Trapshooters.com and Trap and Field for keeping us old timers informed.

The family of John Wojnar, would like to Thank everyone who has posted a thought about John. I am his oldest daughter, after I read the messages, I couldn't stop crying for hours. He was a great father, husband, friend, he was fun, very loving to his family and only concerned about my Mother's well-being until the end. He is sadly missed by family and friends. No one should have to suffer the way this poor man did. My Mom, Carol will be in Florida for a few more weeks. John is being cremated and then will go back to Michigan for a memorial service. If you can attend, please, let us know, as a luncheon will be served. Contact info - Carol Wojnar, 12605 Silver Dollar Drive, Odessa Fl,
3356-2239 or 7149 Braun Dive, Howell MI,48843. Phone 248-705-6163. There is no one who loved shooting, more than John. AMEN.

    Tina:

I need the last digit of the zip so I can send your Mom a card. 3356?

We always saw your folks at the Grand, the $ and other places too. I shot with your mom several times over the years too.

Your Dad use to tease me and call me his "Hero" after I lucked into a really good score one time. From what I've learned from a friend, he was the real hero after what he had to through the last few years.

As a long time Cancer Survivor I want to remind those reading this, it's a Equal Oppurtunity Disease and it does not just happen to someone else.

We will try to see your mother at the $ soon.
