Lost a good friend

    Letting everyone here know that my good friend Thomas Wasung passed away here at the Silver Dollar in Florida Tommy was originally from Warren Michigan, and shot at the local clubs around metro Detroit,funeral services will be on the 13th and 14th April, ive copied and pasted the following, miss you my friend, Tom Nowak.

    Thomas V. Wasung, age 65, died Friday, April 3, 2009 in Florida.
    He was born in Hamtramck, Michigan on June 23, 1943 to parents, Victor & Marie Wasung.

    Following his educational pursuits and the obtaining of an Associates Degree, Thomas entered the military and served our country proudly in the United States Air Force, where he worked as an aircraft mechanic.

    Thomas enjoyed an eclectic array of hobbies and activities that included cooking, wood model construction, and a passion for Mopar / Chrysler products. He was an avid hunter and proficient with firearms where he excelled in skeet & trapshooting.

    Thomas is survived by siblings, Rose Marie (Robert) Chrzanowski, Elaine (Stanley) Szot, and brother-in-law, Frederick Bahorski. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and a great nephew.

    He was preceded in death by his sister, Joy Bahorski.

    Memorial visitation for Mr. Wasung will be held Monday 5-9 pm with a 7 pm K of C Rosary Service at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile Road). A Memorial Mass will be held Tuesday 9:30 am at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church with visitation beginning at 9:00 am prior to Mass. Officiating the Funeral Mass will be Rev. Fr. Roman Pasieczny. Inurnment will take place at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Detroit.

    In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Defenders of Wildlife Thomas Wasung Memorial Fund, Attn: Kim Tooher, 1130 17th Street NW Washington DC 20036 www.defenders.org/memorial.

    Sorry to hear of your loss.. they dont make good friends anymore. Leaves a void when one is called home.
