I shoot a Beretta SO-5 and the side-rib is coming loose near the receiver (under the forearm)... gun patterns great... and shoots 50/50...should I have this fixed immediately? I've talked to a couple of other people that have said their side-ribs have been loose for years. any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

If you don't get it fixed, eventually from shooting 1,000's of rounds the vibration will make it come undone more. It's not a big deal repairing it.

Yes- a few thousand rounds can loosen the side rib more or catching the loose end on a shirt sleeve or cleaning rag once can bend it. It is a simple fix and only takes a small amount of solder and even less flux.
