1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

The rifle is a mauser action chambered in 22-250. It shoots regular 22-250 round's. Larry

A Mauser action isn't going to fit into a Remington 700 stock without significant work.

Dear skeatman i am aware of this. This gun was built by a gunsmith here in illinois a long time ago and he used the 700 stock and that is what i want to use again. I know there will be significant work to fit it but it is probably going to be a long winter. Thanks from Larry.

Question still remains is the Mauser actioned .22-250 rifle built on a Remington 700 SA (Short Action) or LA (Long Action) stock?

Remington 700 Short Action" is 6 7/8" from rear front floor plate screw to front screw. Long Action is 7 7/8" from rear front floor plate screw to front screw.
