Anybody's help would be greatly appreciated on this matter....

We're recently moved to the Nacogdoches area, just south of Tyler about 70 miles. We always shoot at Buffalo Creek gun club, in Ben Wheeler, but this club is currently about 90 mins from our house, so practice is a little bit of a drive.

Is anybody knowledgable about if there are in any Trap clubs in the Nacogdoches, Lufkin, San Angustine areas?????

We're getting desprite for a closer place for practice. this cost of gas is getting rediculous!!

thanks to anybody that might have some information!! it's greatly appreciated.

None that are members of the TTA. My mother-in-law lives outside of San Angustine and I don't know of any non-member clubs either. Nothing in East Texas is anywhere close to civilization but it is pretty. Jimmy Borum

There may be a skeet club in Nacogdoches, (409) 564-5455. There is a real nice little club in Lufkin that is mostly skeet and Sporting clays, but they do have two trap fields, though they don't throw registered targets. www.pinesgunclub.com (936)-897-2764 or (936) 569-7069

It's been a while since I have been to Nacogdoches (graduated SFA 1990) There was a skeet club on the north side of town by Millard's crossing. Stop by Stacy's Deli on University Dr. and ask for Stacy or Bob Akin, they would know if is still there or not. There was talk about building a trap range there, maybe they have one now.

There used to be a nice trap club near Alto but sadly it closed a while back.
