1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

I need a little thinner recoil pad for my 12 ga. 686 Sporting. The one I have on now is the .91 size, I would like to try a .71 or .51. Let me know if you have one?

I just put a .51 on my gun. It is the new Beretta micro core recoil pad. I got it from Midwest gun works. Feels real good, hope it will work for you.

I've got one I'll sell. It's the thin MicroCore pad. People think it's .51 because that's what Beretta puts on its website, but it's actually .40. Excellent pad, BTW , I had another one that I was using. The one for sale is brand new still in the package. $35 dollars shipped.

There's no difference between the trap and skeet pad. Beretta just put them in different packages and gave them a different number. The two pads that I ordered that I thought were .51 were marked .40 on the package. Beretta doesn't seem to care about correcting their catalog, but obviously that's their thinnest pad.

I think the only difference is the design on the surface of the pad. The skeet pad is made to be mounted with a low gun.

Hi. years ago I bought several pads from a man in Italy that Beretta used on their sporting guns in Europe. The pads are brown with a very thin black backing plate. They are solid non vented recoil pads with a beveled heel. They are 5/8' thick, 1&7/8' wide at the widest point and 5&1/2' long. Packaged in factory wrap that says BMR Marchino Depositoro, 'Calciolo in Goma per Fucile' . I have two left and will sell you one if this will work for you for $40 plus freight. Thanks, Ray.

Mine is the trap pad and the entire back of the pad is checkered, so that could be the difference. I know the dimensions and shape are the same as the skeet and sporting pad.
