how about a gooey comb,,,there made by the same company. I just put one on my pfs. get ahold of mike mazzuchi (sp?) on here, he stocks them, do a search for "zookie" on the search page and you should be able to find his email from there.
ya I think the gooey style would be sticky, I just was using it as an example. I thought that they did make a soft comb but I couldn't find it on there page.
Cheekeze makes a soft comb pad that adheres to comb. Comes in different thicknesses. 1/16 " or 1/8 " are personal favorites. Larrys Sporting Goods has favorable pricing.
they gooey comb isn't sticky at all. it isn't slick like a vinyl covered soft comb, but with a little powder stick, it slicks the comb up good. I normally shoot soft top combs, but didn't have a wood comb to have converted for the pfs, so i went w/ a gooey comb.
I can make one for you with extra padding...may be dependent on what your comb looks like now. I have been making combs for the folks with clays & skeet guns to give them a trap style comb. I can look into different materials if you are interested. feel free to drop me an email. peter CRV custom arms. peterh3200@yahoo.com
email mike @ mikeandjean@peoplepc.com He stocks all sorts of trapdude stuff (pads and combs), and can get you a gooey comb. depending on your gun, one might just fit right on, otherwise you might have to jerry rig one up. they are i think $95 if I remember right
