what will your main use for it be? Target, Carry or something else. That makes a difference i would think.

Well this is just my thoughts.. in a 45 acp a kimber ultra carry.
    in a 40 cal a kahr K40 covert
    in a 9mm a kahr 9mm

It is a personal preference. To me It has to feel part of me like my shotgun does before i buy. I am sure there are other opinions here and I hope they chime in.

K 80 Guy, I have a series 80 stainless gold cup with leather, shock buff, extra magazines, and light spring for target loads. If you are seriously interested I can take pictures but I won't give this Colt away. E-mail if interested.

I have a Kimber .45 Ultra Carry with stainless slide and aluminum frame which has served me well. The only things that I can think to say negative about this gun is it's size and weight. If you are going to carry your new handgun concealed most of the time, you might want something light like a Kel-Tec.

I have a Wilson combat KZ-45 that is stainless upper with black target sites, and a unique black polmer frame. The polmer frame makes it lighter than other 45's. Go to the Wilson web site and read all about it. Mine is in like new condition. New they cost $1500. Will sell mine for $1150 and I will pay the shipping to get it to an FFL.

CZ75: not stainless, but a 16-round reliable shooter. I've shot mine regularly for over 20 years & it's never jammed or had any sort of problem.

If the Taurus you are considering is a PT type auto... then take a look at the link to the video about a safety flaw it has.

Obviously, if you shoot a K80, you appreciate quality.
Look no further than Smith & Wesson. They make more stainless
pistols than any other maker. Warranty is lifetime. Resale
    is very good.

Think real hard about the Heckler and Koch USP Compact in .45 acp. New they are in the $900 range. I have one with three mags for $735 shipped.

If you want pics e-mail me or PM. Drop the XXs from the addie above.

Mike- I love the gun and would be interested but you said your not looking to give it away and my father is a FFL dealer so I probably would be able to get a new one for cheaper than your willing to sell, just a guess though no offense
