Looking for a good quality shell pouch, who?

    I am looking for a good quality leather shell pouch that has a compartment for chokes

    so far this is the only one I have found by Lonesome Charle

    any other recommendations?

    +1 on Lonesome Charlie. It wouldn't hurt to look at other styles, but you won't find anyone who will treat you any better than Lonesome Charlie. If a part wears out, they'll fix it so that it's like new, usually free. Good luck.

    I use Donnie Weaver's and Al Ange's pouches as well as Working Dog Leather and several of Lonesome Charlie's offerings. I end up carrying choke tubes in my pocket on the rare occasions that I use them. I think you will have to design a "choke tube" pouch and send the design to a maker. Choke tube additions on a high quality pouch often make it look tacky if you don't design it yourself.

    I might be old fashioned but why do you need all your chokes on the line with you anyway? You should know what choke shoots which way and choose well ahead of time. Mine is easy. Light Full singles. Full Handicap.
