I will be in the Charleston area for about week and was hoping to find a club to shoot a little practice at, any suggestions?

the closest one will either be Backwoods Quail in Georgetown, though they are mainly a sporting clays club.
Another option is Myrtle Grove Gun Club in Myrtle Beach

I think he meant to say the closest club is Backwoods Quail in Georgetown...lol

    Try Partridge Creek Gun Club.

Sporting Clays is the main game in South Carolina. There is some trap but its limited here.

Partridge Creek would be my guess as to the closest to Charleston. Very nice facility for Trap, skeet and Sporting Clays.
