1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

    Looking to purchase a 3 jaw chuck for my Atlas 3950 lathe, anyone have a used one that wants to sell it let me know. thanks Ronnie

    What size thread is the spindle? They are interchangable with other Mfg's such as South Bend, Logan, there are tons of them on ebay for sale.

    There used to be an Atlas web site(not Factory), but I cannot remember the address. They were made here in Kalamazoo, but moved that operation to Goshen, Ind. The factory has some parts too.

    The website above has a lot of good info on Atlas lathes.

    The last time I needed parts Clausing was handling it.
