Does anyone have a recipe for the following 410 load:

    1.Winchester 296 powder
    2.Winchester 410 AAHS Hulls
    3.Winchester 209 Primers
    4.Claybuster Wads CB5050-410HS

I went to Hodgdon Website and looked up recipes for Winchester 296 powder but they show no recipes with the Claybuster Wads.

Shooting w/ tubes so I would like to keep the pressure under 10,000 as they recommend w/ tube sets.

    Thanx,

    Chris

296 is the same as H110, and there is very little difference in 410 wads. Claybuster is a replacement for all the major company's wads. See Claybuster link above. There are lots of recipes when you consider this. I load 15.4 grains of H110 for around 1200 fps. Mark

Oregunner gave you sound advice. I load my 410 around 1250 just because that happened to be what the bushing throws. I use CB wads and love them

Is your load based on Winchester 209 Primers? As this makes a difference in the FPS and the pressure..

    Thanx

Yes, However, when you go to the Hodgdon reloading guide on their website, you will see that if you keep 296(H110) under 16 grains with any medium primer and any wad, the pressure will stay under 10,000. I have also used Fiocchi primers. I shoot mine through Kolar tubes. Mark
