This was sent to me as an email "joke". The more I thought about it, the more it made a lot better sense than what's been done.

    Dear Mr. President,

    Patriotic retirement:

There are about 40 million people **over 50** in the work force - Pay them $1 million apiece severance (total cost a mere $40 million) with the following stipulations:

    1) They leave their jobs. Forty million job openings - *Unemployment fixed..* 2) They buy NEW American cars. *Forty million cars ordered - Auto Industry fixed.
*3) They either buy a house/pay off their mortgage - *Housing Crisis fixed.
    *
It can't get any easier than that!

PS If more money is needed, have all members in Congress and their constituents pay their taxes

What does this have to do with trap shooting or shooting at all?

Aint there enough places on the internet to read garbage like this without filling up TS.com with this type of joking trash?

You have a big problem with your math I suggest maybe you go back to school

I think the cost would be more like $400,000,000,000 as opposed to $40,000,000

I was hoping it was a bailout trapshooting plan that would have the rich people bail us out on our shooting expenses so that we could afford, food, housing, a new car and such instead of having to take that money away from trapshooting.

Kind of like the old chicken in every pot thing but this time a Mossberg in your hand type of program with free shells included.

jcw, what's a few zeros? Doesn't seem to matter to Obammy, just to our kids and grandkids.

    $40,000,000 would be good for 40 retirements at $1,000,000 a piece. 40 * $1,000,000 = $40,000,000.

I would like to be one of the 40 please. Thanks Pres. Obama. Please send the check to:

40 trillion? Heck we'll be there anyway by 2010. I can hear it now . "Oh, but of course we'll have to charge you the standard tax rates." See, we're down to 20 trillion already, a hell of a deal.
