    K-80 30" DBL
I currently have a #1 hanger and it works very well for the first shot.

But as you can see from the picture the second shot is high.
Im better when I get the second shot off fast.
But thats not always the case...
Id like to lower the POI a little for the second shot. (please advise)

    DO I;

    1) replace the hanger with say a 3 and shot top first ?

    2) Lower my comb?
If I do this Ill have to re-ajust my singles /HC POA right?

    3) Were's Kay when I need him..

    4) you fill in.

This is why some people have one gun for sng/hd and another for doubles.
Nothing wrong with taking out washers to shoot doubles just have to remember to put them back in for sng/hd. Shooting the o/u top bottom is fine just remember to change the trigger.
Saying all this I shoot a combo that I make changes on and to remember these I have a u shaped piece of cardboard that I put over the barrel that is in the case that lists what to do when I put that barrel on the reciever.
Do what you have to do to break targets.

    Dave,
I could take out 3 to start and give that a whirl.
It seems the easiest solution for the moment.

I would change the hanger out first. Thats what it designed for. If you change your comb, won't you be changing POI on both barrels?? I think a #3 hanger is a good start. When I changed my hanger on my K80, Krieghoff had a trade in program for hangers.

Why not forget shooting patterns at long distance. The errors you make just get magnified. Go to 13-15 yards and if you can rest the gun on a bench etc. Shoot at an aiming point and you will see clearly what is going on. That is the approach Frank Little recommended. He said don't pattern your gun, check the point of impact. But if you have to pattern have a fellow shooter shoot the pattern, don't look at it,and have him tell your gun shoots the best pattern he's ever seen!

Masterplan, you don't say which K-80 variant you have. Assuming you have a "standard" K-80 combo, try this. Adjust the comb so that you get the POI you want with the O barrel. The change the hanger to get the POI with the U barrel and the same comb setting. Your unsingle changes POI by bending the barrel, so you should be able to raise your unsingle POI back to what it was by adjusting the front of the rib.

If you only have an O/U, do the same, but your have to readjust your comb when switching between doubles, singles and caps.
