Long yds hold point

    How much do you drop your hold point on the house for mid to long yardage? thanks stu

    Start by going to the top of the start page and edit out the extras.

    In answer to all three questions....I don't. But that's not saying that will work for everyone.

    I hold lower and farther towards the outside. Lower being on top of the house. I also shoot a higher gun (put an extra spacer in) to help compensate. The move to the inside requires less movement than it would on the 16, allowing a hold off the corners on 1 and 5.

    This makes quartering targets a breeze.

    I hold very low, as in between the grass and the traphouse roof on post 3 and about that height or lower on 1 and 5. Britt Robinson got me to hold there after identifying that I see the target very well and move quickly to it at his clinic at the Great Falls trap Club (hi Ric!) back in '96 I believe.
