Jamie Gray who will be competing in the 50 meter rifle event for TeamUSA is Doug and Suzie Gray's daughter in law . Let's wish her and ALL the American shooters good shooting!!!

I got up to stare at the computer for Double Trap the other morning... Hoping that things go better for Corey and Kim and my loss of sleep will leave me in a better mood tomorrow.

    GO TEAM USA!!!

Had to dig real deep for this. Squad 1, position 3 is Kim Rhode, "bib" number 1897. Someone's database look-up pulled out the wrong info. Click on the + sign beside the "iqs" (individual qualification score) and Kim's info shows up. Her IQS was 64, lowest of all of the women. Hoping she lights 'em up with her shooting in the morning.

Had to dig deep for the tv schedule also. NBCSN, 3:30-4:00 PM CDT, women's trap final. Mid-afternoon, when we will all be on the trap ranges!

The 75 in Qualification looks to be a World Record.

Congratulations to Kim. Nice showing for someone who does skeet for her day job.

Let's face it; the Olympics is a complete mind game. Kim & Vincent (like Tiger Woods) have a game face. Others need to work on that.

I'm beginning to wonder if Kim "missing her flight" to hang with The Team....wasn't planned. Unnecessary distraction?

The Italian woman, J. Rossi, won the Trap Gold with a 99, missing the 92nd bird. It is a phenomenal performance. Kim and Corey were not on their games, but will be there in the future. The 25 birds shot in the shootoff were with one shell in the gun, making the winning score of 99 a miracle in shooting skill.

I couldn't get it either. They showed bicycle racing instead. Bummer. They did do a decent interview with Jamie Gray later on. Charlie

Corey went 25/22/21 ... Kim 23/21/24. If Kim dedicated herself to bunker one can only imagine what she could accomplish
