Drexel, I would say the mid rib is the most popular, and the high rib is the least popular. You take a large hit when you buy a new gun and sell it sometime later. I bought a New stainless mid rib with high grade English walnut in 1996 for $6,650 not counting sales tax then sold it back to the same Ljutic dealer in 2006 for $4,200 in mint condition. Buy a used one that already took the hit. The new mono production date is around 4,000+ The factory adjustable stock is no better then other well known stock workers.

Hi Drexel - a bit off topic, but could you tell me how you chose your screen name? I am a finance professor at Drexel University.

There is another place, I think the name is Texas Clays. They usually have a LOT of Ljutics in stock. I have never dealt with them, and have never heard any info on them. But I have looked at their inventory online and the prices look good.

Don't forget about Bob Schultz (Target Shotguns) who advertises on this site. Bob's word over the telephone is better than a written contract.
