Tom,,,, that is a nice looking gun! That is a fine shooting gun,, I shot one for many years. Then it was stolen out of my truck. I just built another one,, maybe the prettiest one ever!! If you see Scott messenger,, ask him to see it! He shot it and wouldn't give it back. Fancy wood from Bobby Emrick and metal blued by Pat Laib. They shoot just as good as the new Ljutics!! Paul

Is the rib bent at the receiver, or was that the way it was built?

Not my gun but I can answer your question,, The back extension of the rib stands alone on the rear of the reciever. This is not a hoodod barrel, rather fits flat to the rear of the reciever so the last 2.5" of the rib is attached to the reciever. Looks just as it is supppose to! Paul

The Dyna trap was Ljutic's attempt at a more "production line" made gun. The object was to lower production costs and thus a lower intial cost. It does not work like a Mono Gun but is as durable and trouble free as the Mono. They are a bit industrial looking but perform well.

A friend of mine has shot one since about 1970 and still does. It has been rebuilt by L a couple of times but it has had an awful bunch of shells through it. They're great guns.
