Has anyone seen any evidence this outfit actually safeguards their accounts? After 1 year I got with them through NRA I never heard from them or saw one evidence they were doing anything. I've never been able to log into their website. I had a Chase card on file with them which I ended up with when another bank folded. I've never liked Chase so I canceled the account. I have a different bank's card since dirt was made. When my 1 year was up Lifelock said they were going to automatically renew my membership with the closed account. Then they write and say they can't renew my membership and they don't even know about my primary account. How can they be said to be monitoring my accounts if they don't even know what my accounts are, which info is readily available to them? If I have to tell them what accounts I have, what evidence is there that they are monitoring anything?

My understanding is that it is a rip-off. They were hit with a large judgment due to false advertising, I believe. As I understood it, they just didn't do anything you couldn't do on your own. This was over a year ago I think, so you should confirm it, but that is what I understood.
