I have a John Storm jacket that I'd like to get some wiggle room in. Can they be let out in the chest? Only talking a couple inches.

The last time I contacted John (maybe six months ago) about an adjustment he told me the alteration dept. was four or more months behind. All I requested was the removal of the pocket and a left shoulder leather patch be installed. I found a local that took care of my problem.

You could have a seamstress take out the zipper, put a 1 or 2 inch panel on each side then reattach the zipper to the panel. I've done that on vests for friends.

You can get zippers at a fabric store like Hancock Fabrics and others.
