Canada - US relations are in good shape on the west coast of Canada. Took a run up to the border and snagged a bag full of Kings (Chinook), cohos and halibut. Coho's in 10-12 lb range, all day long. Halibut, red snapper, black bass, rock cod were just a constant nuisance. My wife made it into the Tyee Club (30 lb+) for two Kings and I barely made it with a 37 pounder. Photo shows catch on one day - 41, 40, 37, 31, 30. Trevor Dawe

Lucky dog. Every time we've gone out on a chartered boat we got skunked.

Nice! Looks like a blast! We were hitting summer run kings on the Columbia a few weeks ago. Nothing fights like a fresh king.

Two weeks ago today my wife caught a 22.25 inch rainbow trout on Lake Taneycomo near Branson, MO. We'll be going back later in the year to see if she can catch the same fish again!! JPM

Lyle, we fished different places everyday about a two hour ride from the lodge in the early am as we fished the tide Left the dock at 430 am. The fishing took place 20 yards off rock walls of different islands. 100 feet of water under the boat with the down riggers set at 50 to 70 feet. The bottom fishing was done at about 300 feet of water. It was a trip of a life time. Trevor Dawe

    Trevor,

Interesting! I have been wanting to do a do it yourself trip to the Skeena (have jet boat will travel) sometime in the near future. I am going to Neah Bay this year instead. Great looking fish!
