    Leo III

I was watching Leo Harrisons DVD and he is using his O/U DT10 for singles and the top single for handicap. For those of you in the know, does Leo use his O/U for singles or is this just what was handy for the DVD? Just wondering.

He also makes it look like a toy in his hands.

I read a story on him years ago when he was shooting a 682 and he used 30 in. o/u for sgls. then and a 34 in. top single for caps.

Makes perfect sense...Beretta O/U's all shoot pretty much dead flat..fine for 16yd birds..and the top singles i have owned are easily 20% higher with no real difference in sight picture using the same comb height...which would help when shooting from the fence

I asked him why he started using his o/u for singles, he replied, "because I did not feel I was breaking enough of them with the top single".

You know he is only at 99.00% for this years 16's. That is the lowest average he has had since 1978. But the year is young and I am sure when the weather gets better he will still wind up with 99.5 or better.

Thats terrible. He might as well hang it up. He is washed up. I mean how can you expect Leo to compete being 1% off perfect?

He told me he shoots a top single because his eye is closer to the barrel.

An expert observer told me he shot the top single on even days and the o/u on odd days.

Interesting discussion and what is even more interesting is in Trapshooting USA Nov/Dec issue they profiled the participants in the Handicap shoot out at the Grand. They said Leo Shoots a DT 10 Unsingle Go figure. I just don't know who to believe, I'm so confused!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Leo III

Two years ago at the Grand Leo shot on the squad behind mine at the same bank. It was a singles event and he was using his DT10 with O/U barrel.

Amazing memory he has. He reconized and remembered both me and my son as well as our names. I had sent my son thru his clinic the year before.

Watching Leo shoot is almost like watching rerun, after rerun, after rerun ... I see that he stakes claim to being a "Professional Trap shooter and teacher", at least he is being honest about his status in shooting ... So, how does he compete on an Amateur level in the Amateur Trapshooting Association ..?

I have no problem with Big Leo winning, thats almost a gimme but none of the Pro's with the exception of Daro Handy and now Leo Harrison III will admit to it ... I am not trying to ruffle any feathers or start any crap, just an interesting and honest inquiry ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

Does anyone know if Leo shoots one gun a combo? or does he use two different guns?
It looks from all pictures that it is the same gun.
