I got out of some risky stocks on Thursday and loaded up on T-Bill's....safe for the interim...

I'll wait until after the new year before playing again.

As long as the Feds don't get involved, this will be a good thing. Weed out the losers. Let the free market work.

pendennis, can't argue with that logic, I think what the Fed has been trying to do, right or wrong, is avoid panic.

I heard a well-known economist this morning on a local talk show. He said it best. If these failures are allowed to be bailed out by the Government, then the bailout encourages more immoral social behavior.

When Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were bailed out, did anybody learn anything from their actions? Evidently not.

It's time to let the rules of capitalism work. The number one of which is that if you screw up you die.

Funny but I've been making Money on Federal National Mortgage and Leman Holdings for the last week trading them and there a great value now.

It was time for a correction and the fund traders have ruined the financial markets.
