Yup, we just had a price increase on September 1st. Prices went up 5%, second time in 5 months the factory raised our prices. I work for a battery manufacture so you can imagine how hard we watch lead cost.

Lead has gained 24% in the last two weeks. Chinese authorities shut down several smelters on environmental issues, this is causing supply questions.

Its not China right now to worry about it is our own Govt. buy up the metals with your tax dollars and holding the metal to sell tol china. If you noticed that much of the shortage of ammo and anything to do with the componets of ammo is getting very scarce. Thats why the gov.has been buying up the metal causing the increase in other prices and making a killing selling the metal to other foriegn markets. They win both way. No sprots ammo in this country and big money from across the pond. Its not rocket science. Just pay attention to the business sector and listen.

Which agency is buying metals and making a killing?

Where do think/know these profits go?
