After much soul searching, our local trap club has had to increase its lead shot prices 10%.

Now charge members $22 per 25 pound bag of shot.

It is lead "mined" from our range and re-processed (re-dropped).

200 Straights from the 16 yard line have been shot with it as well as 100 Straights from Handicap.

By inspection and examination, no one can tell it from the shot bought at the local sporting goods stores for $45+ per bag.

Damn, I'd like to join your club. That is, unless, your club charges 6 bucks a round to make up the difference.

The club charges $3.50 per practice ticket.

Have over a dozen trap houses and keep multiple trap houses open on practice days.

Includes 16 yard line, medium handicap, long handicap, and doubles houses.

There is also one skeet set up that is open routinely.

Friendliest club I have ever been around.

Doesn't matter whether you shoot a Mossberg or a Krieghoff or whether you routinely break 12 of 25 or shoot 25 Straight every round, everyone has a good time and treats everyone as a friend.

    Open year round.

    Shoot every Sunday all year.

I have shot every Sunday in December, January, and February when I'm home.

In the summers we are open on Wednesdays too.

The Pocatello Airport is serviced by Delta Skywest.

The trap range is literally at the end of the runway.

Many times I have broken my last clay target on the range and less than thirty minutes later been on the runway in the Delta plane heading to Salt Lake City.

That is... say my good-byes at the range, put my guns and gear away, drive the short distance to the airport parking lot, walk in, go through security, board the plane, and have the plane taxi to the runway end next to the trap range I just left.

    No problem.

Well, living in Alabama you get the opportunity to yell "Roll Tide" every year.

And you get to eat fried whole catfish and hushpuppies every week.
