Comadities have been fluctating for some time, lead is at $.86/lb. How long do you think it will take all our shot distributors to lower the price per bag?

Well, if the lead wheel weight is banned, that takes away a lot lead demand, I think lead price will drop further.

In Komifornia fishermen will NO longer be able to use any type of LEAD in the states waterway's as of June or July 1st 2010!!!Most people are not aware of this yet.The retailers and tackle shops don't want to get stuck with it on their shelves so it is still being passed on to the consumer!
They are digging a very deep hole in this state.PJ

That further reduces the usage of lead, price will drop more. When they ban lead shots in target shooting, this question will not concern us anymore. But at meantime, lead is going down. :)

I just paid $28 for a bag of shot, last week it was $31/bag. If it drops a couple more bucks a bag I'm going to have to order a pallet of it!

Makes that $25/bag shot I bought last year looking better and better all the time. Shot is $38/bag here in Vermont...when you can find it.
