I just checked the price at the above web site and noticed the price had dropped below the 50 cent mark. Bill Malcolm

I can't help but wonder how many people are sitting on large quantities of $40-$50 a bag shot. Ouch!

July of 2008 future price of shot by the boxcar was $20.00 a bag. I would not be surprised if the dealers that bought it at that price don't get burned either. I stopped buying it at $30.00 a bag a year or two ago...I wish I would have stopped at $10.00 because I think we might see $10.00 or something close to that for a bag of shot again .

Here is the six year price graph. When was it $12 a bag?

I think its safe to say that the predicted demise of reloading was a bit premature. I had been finding shot locally at garage sales and buying unused shot for a song over the past couple years, not to mention all the $5 WalMart shells I had been finding...

Hopefully as the price drop continues to translate into lower shell and shot pricing, we'll see some rounds on the rise. Happy Thanksgiving!

    regards to all,

    Jay
